Dr. Anna Means Moore

PT, DPT, OCS

Co-Owner and Founder

Anna Means Moore, PT, DPT, OCS grew up in Gloster, LA and attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA where she played on the women’s basketball team. During her sophomore year, she suffered a season ending knee injury which required reconstructive surgery and physical therapy. After experiencing the dedication her physical therapist displayed in helping her return to her love of sports, she knew that she wanted to be able to help others in this manner. She graduated from LSUHSC Shreveport with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy in 2005 and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2008.

Anna has added qualification in managing orthopedic conditions through ABPTS Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, which she achieved in 2010. Throughout her career, Anna has been active in both the LPTA and APTA and is a member of the Private Practice Section. She is the only credentialed ASTYM provider in the area and is certified in both Level 1 and 2 through Kineticore to perform trigger point dry needling (TDN).

Anna has completed numerous marathons, including the Boston Marathon in 2006 and 2012. Her first Ironman was in Lake Placid, NY in July of 2007 and she has competed in 3 more since that time. Additionally, she qualified for and competed in the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Henderson, NV in 2011. Anna married Justin Moore of Minden in April of 2011. They have two daughters, Taylor and Mary Steele. She is a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA.

Dr. Trent Wierick

PT, DPT, TPI

Co-Owner

Trent Wierick, PT, DPT, grew up in Shreveport, LA and is a C.E. Byrd alumni where he played multiple sports including football, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, and ran cross country. His success as a place kicker for the football team allowed him to play on the collegiate level at Louisiana Tech University and later at the University of Central Arkansas. An off-season weight lifting injury forced Trent to miss an entire season and commit to daily physical therapy. It was during this time that Trent began to develop a passion for physical therapy and the importance of strength training with appropriate technique.

Trent graduated from LSU Health Science Center-Shreveport with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy in 2005 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2008. He began his physical therapy career as an out-patient physical therapist at LSU Health Science Center-Shreveport (now Oschner Health) and practiced in hospital based as well as private clinics. Trent then joined his classmate, Anna Moore, at the Edge Physical Therapy in 2013.

Trent is a member of the Sports Section of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as the Louisiana Physical Therapy Association. He is also certified by the Titleist Performance Institute for golf fitness evaluations and trained by Kinetacore to perform Trigger Point Dry Needling.

Trent enjoys an active lifestyle that includes golf, working out, running, and triathlons. He has completed 2 Ironman triathlons and 10 marathons. Trent is married to his high school sweetheart, Molly, and they have one daughter, Mary Caroline. They are involved at Broadmoor Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA.

Dr. Kelli Spence Snyder

PT, DPT

Kelli Spence Snyder PT, DPT grew up in Shreveport, LA attending Loyola College Prep and then obtained her Bachelor of Science in Community Health from LSU-Shreveport in 2007. During college she worked at LSU Rehabilitation where she was exposed to the many areas of physical therapy. There she learned how dedicated therapists can positively influence a patient’s recovery and decided that physical therapy was the career for her.

Kelli graduated from LSU Health Science Center-Shreveport in 2011 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Since this time, she has worked in the outpatient setting, beginning at Willis Knighton, and has been able to treat multiple conditions. She has gained experience in treating a variety of patient conditions including orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and athletic injuries. Kelli obtained her certification in Functional Dry Needling in 2018 and has been able to assist with recovery using this technique. She joined The Edge Physical Therapy in March 2019.

Kelli enjoys working with her patients and being a part of their journey to return to their prior sport, work and daily activities. She loves making a positive impact on her patients during their road to recovery. Kelli married Dan Snyder in October 2011, and they have two children, Abigail and Sam.

Dr. Justin Boyd

PT, DPT

Justin Boyd, PT, DPT grew up in Kenner, LA and graduated from Grace King High School in Metairie. He then attended the University of New Orleans receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology then his Doctor of Physical Therapy from LSUHSC-Shreveport in 2018. After graduation, he completed an orthopedic residency at LSUHSC-Shreveport in 2019. Justin passed the orthopedic certification exam May 2020 and is a Board Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapy Specialist.

Justin is one of the very few certified Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Training providers through Owens Recovery Science in the Shreveport area. He is an active member in APTA, LPTA and the Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. Justin completed two rotations with Edge during his matriculation through physical therapy school and officially joined the Edge team in 2019. He is Level one and two trigger point dry needling certified through MS Dry Needling.

Justin loves anything sports related particularly football and strength training. He plays in an intramural flag football league in Bossier City, and also enjoys being outdoors with his dog, Legend. He is a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church in Shreveport and Lakeview Christian Center in New Orleans when he returns home to visit. Justin has a passion for his patients, making it his priority to get them back to what they love most.

Melissa Colston

Office Manager

Melissa Colston grew up in Bossier City, Louisiana. She has 32 years of experience in practice management and in the health care insurance industry. Melissa began as the Office Manager of The Edge when the doors opened in June of 2006. Previously, Melissa served two years at LSUHSC in coding and billing for physical therapy. Her other health care management experiences include working at Benefit Concepts, Willis Knighton Health Systems, Schumpert Medical Center and Insurance Management Administrators. Melissa has been married to Jessie Colston for 33 years and they have two children, Christina and Cody and two grandchildren Kyler and Gia. Melissa loves to spend time with her family and serving in her church.
